Bond Communications, the installer of the DIFC and DFSA offices (levels 12, 13, 14 and 15) and DIFX Building 5 L 7 Structured cabling system and Audio Visual systems and a specialist integrator has the exclusive contract to supply, install, test and commissioning of all the works and modification for the structured cabling system for The Gate and Precinct Buildings of DIFC.
Bond Communications responsibilities include the following:
Design and install the Vertical Cabling Systems of the DIFCA The Gate and Precinct Buildings. The Structured Cabling Systems in any of the equipment rooms, data centres and inter building connectivity (including any and all reception areas).The Structured Cabling Systems in the Retail Outlet areas.The Backbone Cabling between the Gate Building Meet-Me Rooms and the MDFs of the Precinct Buildings.
Bond duties also include providing drawings detailing the installations, additions or modifications in soft and hard versions to the DIFCA ITSS on a weekly basis. We maintain an adequate inventory to effectively and timely execute the required works in an assigned stock room on the premises. Bond is also responsible for the maintenance of the Vertical cabling and patching of lines within 24 hours notice. We provide immediate support in case of emergency situations. The emergency service is on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis. Response to emergencies is 30 minutes during normal working hours and on 3 hours, after notice, on weekends and public holidays.
As part of our responsibilities, we insure that all our staff, provided on site, during normal office hours, has the appropriate experience and qualifications to perform the required tasks in a professional and expeditious manner. The installation & maintenance are done in accordance with the international standards and regulations (TIA/EIA) and the Systimax guidelines.
