A five year renewable BOT contract (Build, Operate and Transfer) was signed with DICC to provide the Telecommunications services to the exhibitors at DICC; Structured Cabling Infrastructure
Bond Communications installed the latest in the technology, Systimax GigaSPEED Structured cabling solution in the Exhibition Halls. This infrastructure is capable of running any protocols that are required for the exhibitors and meets the Category 6 specifications. The Client will be able to meet the Data and Voice communication requirements of its valuable exhibitors with this infrastructure. ISDN and Leased lines can be made available to the exhibitors with minimum inconvenience.
This cabling infrastructure holds a performance warranty of 20 years from the manufacturer and meets the EIA/TIA standards.
Category 6 GigaSPEED end-to-end solution provides the required bandwidth for any high-speed data and voice communication protocols. The latest in the technology, VisiPatch Panels were used in this installation with a FiberOptic (Single Mode and Multimode) Backbone.
Adequate data and voice outlets are provided at all the stalls of Dubai World Trade Centre, Exhibition Halls and can be connected immediately upon request from the exhibitor.Data Networking
High-end Data Networking supports the above Structured-cabling infrastructure. The Switches with Fiber Uplink Module is capable of supporting the GigaSPEED requirements and much more. The DWTC complex is equipped with “state of the art” telecom facility.
The PABX installed is the AVAYA Definity G3r, which is designed in a fully Duplicated Option that gives Total Redundancy and is configured for over 8000 ports. The system provides DWTC with Enhanced Telecom features and will also supports their future requirements in terms of VoIP, Call Center, IVR, CTI, etc. The system is installed in a campus environment wherein the PABX carriers are spread across the Convention Center, the Exhibition Halls, The New Office Tower and the DWTC Apartment Complex. All these are interconnected via Fiber Optic Cables. The interface to Etisalat Network is an overwhelming 33 ISDN PRI’s and 340 C.O Trunks. In addition to the above wired network, Bond Communication has installed the Wireless Network for Data and Voice communications. This provides more flexibility for the exhibitors like moving around with the Laptops without the inconvenience of pulling cables along, browsing the Internet while on the move etc. apart from the usage of wireless Data and Voice equipments.TV Signal Infrastructure
AS part of the BOT Bond Communications installed its cutting-edge technology TV signal distribution infrastructure in the Exhibition Halls. This infrastructure provides signals from Arabsat, Nilesat, Hot bird etc to the exhibitors. Coaxial cables are used with various components to provide the TV signals with out loss of clarity. Any number of TV signal connections can be provided to the exhibitors upon request. Additional Satellite Signal coverage can be incorporated in the same system. The exhibitors can use this virgin signal from various satellites to tune up to their requirements of Television programs.
Bond Communications also installed and commissioned over 250 Closed Circuit Television cameras in and around the property with monitoring stations at various locations to meet the security requirements. The signals from these cameras are converted and transmitted over fiber cables to avoid any loss in signal levels. 24 hours monitoring and recording of the signals from these cameras are accomplished using Digital Versatile Recorders, switching matrix etc.
Upon the successful completion of the Permanent Audio Visual Systems for the Dubai International Convention Centre, Bond Communications is awarded with the Audio Visual Hire Systems Contract for the IMF – WB Annual meeting to be held at the Dubai International Conference Centre in September 2003.
This equipment was provided as part of the IMF Audio Visual System / Information Technology System requirements of the IMF – WB Annual Meeting 2003 in a direct tender issued by Dubai Municipality to work under Dubai World Trade Centre.
Bond Communications, the installer of the permanent Audio Visual Systems in the Dubai World Trade Centre premises and the supplier of the Audio Visual Hired Systems is awarded with the Audio Visual Event Management of the IMF - WB Annual Meeting 2003.
This requires sheer caliber to operate this high-end professional Audio Visual System on a real time scenario like the International Monetary Fund – World Bank Annual Meeting wherein dignitaries from around the world were attending.
This level of confidence in the capability of Bond Communications was convincing enough for Dubai 2003, the organizers of the IMF-WB (upon witnessing the performance and workmanship they displayed in the various DWTC projects in preparation for the IMF-WB meeting) to engage Bond Communications as the Event Managers.
